My name is Sandra and I am a fully qualified Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist, having trained with the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training (CPHT) affiliated with York University. This is the Gold Standard of Hypnotherapy training and I feel fortunate to have found them following my decision to train in this discipline.

Based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, UK, I have had quite a varied working life from Hotel work when I left school to working in both Children’s and Adults’ Safeguarding in more recent years.

However, when I found myself working from home during Covid, I discovered that it simply did not suit me.

I, therefore, decided to seek an alternative direction, one that would involve me working directly with people in a positive and life-affirming way. I am a ‘people person’ and enjoy a level of contact with others that working in isolation simply did not offer.

When daydreaming one day (itself a form of hypnosis) I decided to research hypnotherapy and found a course of study that offered a professional qualification with CPHT and the rest, as they say, is history. This turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.
